How To Use Todoist for Task and Project Management

Since I became a creative solo entrepreneur in 2008, I have tried many different task managers and project management apps. Many of them are designed for sales teams or enterprise companies, but only a few actually work for solo business owners.
I have finally settled on Todoist, which is more like a task manager than a full-blown project manager. It works well for solopreneurs like me and also for people with sales teams.
Here are some reasons why I like Todoist:
The app works on my MacBook Air desktop, my iPhone, and my iPads (I have all three sizes!), all for a monthly fee of only $5.00.
I can customize the app with labels, filters, tags, etc.
I can easily add tasks and sub-tasks and also assign due dates, priorities, and reminders.
For my projects, I can add different sections and view them in a list or in Kanban format.
I can make and use templates for my recurring projects.
A Karma feature tracks my productivity over time with detailed reports.
The comments feature included with each task allows me to keep files, images, and ideas associated with that task. You can leave and exchange comments under each task if you work with others.
What I like best is that all of my tasks immediately show up on my Google Calendar, and if I change the date and/or time on my Google Calendar, it is also immediately changed on the Todoist app.
Todoist is a simple-to-use yet fully featured task manager and project manager. It is perfect for one person to use because it doesn’t have a lot of complicated components.
What task manager or project management app have you found that works for you?
